Sliding Barn Doors
We officially have sliding barn doors up & running in our home!!!! I am so excited about these!
They add so much more character & detail to the living room. The barn doors were made by our friend, Matt. Check him out on Instagram here. He also helped us install these barn doors because they are super heavy & these walls are cement which are not easy to drill through.
I think the sliding barn doors turned out amazing!
We got the hardware from Amazon (HERE). We used the 12 ft hardware since we have 2 doors. I love the black hardware & how it ties into the lamps. I also like the contrast of the gray walls with the white doors & black hardware. This living room has a much more farmhouse vibe now.
The doors are painted with Rustoleum Linen White Chalk Paint (HERE). I looked on Pinterest to find some doors I loved & Matt was able to combine a few options into these perfect doors!
Below is a view of what the barn doors look like from sitting in our sun room. They create such a cozy ambiance in here. They help to really close off the space when we are each wanting to watch different TV shows ;)
