Holiday Baking Kitchen Decor

Holiday Baking Kitchen Decor

I love baking during the holidays and felt very inspired to create my kitchen decor around this!

See my tablescape for Christmas this year, HERE.

Baking during the holidays is one of my favorite traditions so I wanted to create my kitchen decor around all the fun baking things!

I am so excited to be sharing my kitchen shelf decorated for the holidays. One of my favorite things during the holiday season is all the yummy baking! This inspired me to decorate my kitchen shelf for all the baking that is to come!

I have teamed up with lots of other bloggers who are all sharing some beautiful holiday ideas today! If you are here from Amy, Atta Girl Says, welcome! Isn’t her Christmas tree stunning?! A big thank you to Leen for hosting this inspiring hop!

This past weekend, we baked some of our favorite cookies, Triple Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal cookies, for our family’s ravioli making party. We make raviolis with my husband’s whole family and then freeze them and eat them on Christmas Day! It’s so much fun! Everyone brings a dish and we made these cookies which are always a hit. I brought them over on this beautiful pink tray.

Since I know we will be doing plenty more baking, I wanted to decorate the kitchen using baking things we will be using a lot this season. I’m all for practical and functional decor in the kitchen so I always love styling this shelf using things I use a lot.

KITCHEN SHELF DECOR

On the shelf, I kept it pretty similar to my fall shelf with our every day plates, bowls, cups, and measuring cups. I switched up the plates to my Christmas plates. I also added some mini trees that I have collected over the years. Adding these small touches instantly brought Christmas cheer! I put out my home for the holidays artwork from Angela Staehling. Lastly, some twinkle lights because the glow just makes everything better!

On the counter, I put my dracaena plant that needs more sunlight now that we have shorter days. I also put a mixing bowl and cutting board. The cutting board is one of my favorites for charcuterie boards and I love making them during the holidays. I moved my baking canisters over to the counter too! Easy access and they are so beautiful and such good quality! I keep almond flour and oats in these canisters.

The last thing I added was the crochet tree garland under the shelf. I hung it with little tacks. It’s so cute and adds a little vintage charm.

I love how pretty yet functional the kitchen shelf decor is. I can easily grab the measuring cups on the shelf, a mixing bowl, some baking ingredients and be well on my way to baking up something yummy!

I hope this inspires you to use your baking goodies to decorate with this holiday season! What is your favorite cookie to make during the holidays?!
