Christmas Village Tablescape

Christmas Village Tablescape

I was inspired by a Christmas village to create this tablescape.

See how I made a gingerbread tablescape last year, HERE.

This Christmas village tablescape is so easy to pull together and looks so fun and festive!

I love Christmas villages. I think they are so pretty and festive and nostalgic. I love including villages throughout our home during the holidays.

This year, I thought it would be fun to create a tablescape using some of my little houses. The beauty of this tablescape is that I didn’t buy anything new for it! I used everything I already had to create something new and fresh which I LOVE!

I want to give you some ideas on how you can easily recreate this in your home as well!

CHRISTMAS VILLAGE TABLESCAPE CREATION

First, use your favorite green garland and swirl it down the center of the table. This one has little mini pinecones on it and it’s a dark green color. I love how it looks natural and doesn’t have any glitter or flocking, but use what you love!

I then layered some twinkly lights on top of the garland because twinkle lights just make me happy! Battery operated lights work best so that you don’t have to worry about plugging them in.

Next, I used these 3 sparkled cone trees which I have had for years now. I love how they add a bit of glam, but still feel traditional and almost vintage. Use any 3 taller trees you have for this.

Lastly, the houses! I collect little ceramic houses and usually find them in the target dollar bin. I have seen the version for this year and they would work perfect! A few of mine have lights built in and some don’t. The ones that don’t, I stuck the light bulb in from the twinkle lights. I also had some ceramic trees that I put in as well. Use whatever village houses you have and place them sporadically on either side of the garland.

I love how this turned out! The mix of the green with the white feels so fresh and earthy. I love these tones together mixed with the twinkle lights. I also love that this is simple enough to keep out every day. We still have plenty of room to eat around it, but it could be perfect for Christmas dinner as well!

Like I said, these are all things I have bought in the past, but I did find some similar options of things, if you are interested!
