Well I am officially half way through the 21 Day Fix Workouts (HERE). I thought I'd give a quick update with how everything is going.
I honestly can't believe I have already done 11 days of this program! It's been fast, but that's life, right?
I have such a good routine for working out that I feel like I have no excuses to not do the workouts each day. My routine has been getting up at 6:30am to have coffee and breakfast before Dominic gets up at 7am. I nurse Dominic at 7, we play for a bit, I give him breakfast around 8 and then we head upstairs to my bedroom to do the work out. I typically start it around 8:30am so by the time Dominic goes down for his nap at 9, my workout is complete! I can then shower and get ready for the day while Dominic is taking his nap. I have seriously loved this routine and if you know me, then you know I thrive off of a schedule.
As for how I'm feeling...I feel AMAZING! Not only do I physically feel great but I mentally feel great too. I'm sure you've seen tons of info about self care these days and doing these workouts every day have really fulfilled that need to take care of myself. Plus I think getting them out of the way first thing in the morning gives me motivation to tackle the day. As tiring as they are, they are motivating as well. Since this is the second week of the workouts, I have been pushing myself to do more reps and to have really great form when doing the moves. I think this week has been a little harder than the first week because I am pushing myself to do more because I know my body can do it. Taking care of myself has made me a happier mother, wife, and person!
I can still hang with Dominic and he loves watching me workout, he laughs, he plays, and has fun while I am getting my sweat on! It's super motivating to have him sitting in the room 'cheering' me on!
I will share my results at the end of the program in a couple weeks, but I am starting to see some!
I love this program and I am so happy that I have committed to doing it! I am already thinking of what I am going to do next when this program is done? Maybe I will do another round?
