The Ultimate Sippy Cup Guide

We have been trying out several sippy cups for the past few months to create the ultimate sippy cup guide!

Looking for some easy baby meal ideas, try these out.

The ultimate sippy cup guide is filled with tons of sippy cups we tried and all of our thoughts on them so hopefully you can choose the best one for your little ones!

I have put together a roundup of all the sippy cups we have tried, plus ones that you have suggested! I hope this helps in determining which sippy cup to try out with your little ones!

TOMMEE TIPPEE SIPPEE CUP NON SPILL

This is hands down our favorite sippy cup! Dominic loves throwing his cups on the floor and these have been the best with actually not spilling when they are dropped. He can pick them up easily and they are easy to clean with the wider openings.

MUNCHKIN MIRACLE 360 CUP

So we bought the bigger size (10oz), not realizing there was a trainer cup (with handles and 7oz) and I think if we had bought the trainer cup for Dominic right now, he would like it better. He can use the 10oz one just fine, but it is harder for him to grab. We will use it as he gets older though as it is easy to drink out of. I will say, this one does spill when it’s thrown on the ground.

NUK LEARNER CUP

If you are looking for a good first sippy cup, try this one out! It is small (5oz) so it is nice and lightweight for your little one to hold. Dominic still loves using this cup. I love that the handles turn so that the spout and handles always line up. Also doesn’t spill when dropped! We really like this cup because it also comes with a cover for easy traveling.

NUBY TWO-HANDLE NO-SPILL SUPER SPOUT GRIP N’ SIP CUPS

My Mom has these at her house and Dominic likes using them when we go there. We did take one to our house and he ended up chewing through the spout? Not sure if that was just a fluke or not, but they are a good sippy cup and easy to hold with the handles. Sometimes they spill when dropped, but not every time! These were recommended a lot by you guys!

PHILIPS AVENT MY NATURAL TRAINER SIPPY CUP

This was the first sippy cup we used with Dominic. We used Philips Avent bottles so we tried this sippy cup first. It was a good cup to learn with, but quickly learned that this was not a good cup for the long haul. It is easy for him to hold and to learn to drink out of, but it easily spills out. I remember being very frustrated at first with it spilling all the time, but he was also learning to drink out of a cup and not a bottle so it was a learning curve.

GERBER GRADUATES FUN GRIPS HARD SPOUT SIPPY CUP

We also started using these at my Mom’s house and they are a great basic sippy cup. Dominic can easily hold them. They don’t have tons of bells and whistles, but that’s ok! They are easy to clean. We have found that they do spill when dropped. Some of you have recommended these as well!

MUNCHKIN CLICK LOCK WEIGHTED STRAW CUP

This cup we just tried out yesterday with the recommendation from one of you! I wanted to see how Dominic would do with a straw and he instantly figured it out as soon as I gave it to him. He actually loves using it and has been using ever since I gave it to him yesterday! It comes with a little brush to clean the straw which is genius! It doesn’t leak and he has been throwing this around, like he does with all his cups. This is definitely a win!
