We did a big room swap in our house. Dominic’s original room was bigger than Giulietta’s. When we had Serafina, I knew eventually we would have to swap rooms and the time finally came to make the switch.

The girls now share Dominic’s old room and we moved Dominic into the girls old room. It made so much more sense & gives the girls more room. When we were making this swap, I knew I wanted to create a really magical & fun space for the girls. I wanted a space that was fun for them now at age 4 and 1, but also something that would grow with them as they get older.

I wanted a fun accent wall to really give the room some character. When I found this Around the World design by Bespoke Letterpress in the color blush from Milton & King, I knew I had found the perfect wallpaper! It’s so dreamy, cute, & makes a big statement in the room.

This wallpaper is gorgeous! I love all the houses, each are unique and have so many details on them. You could look at the wallpaper for a long time & find so many cute things on it. It’s not only stunning, but also amazing quality. I have used Milton & King wallpaper before so I knew that it would be great to work with. This one definitely lived up to my expectations.

It’s thick, really well made, & very easy to install. The pattern makes it really easy to cut & install the next piece. It was easy to line up the wallpaper because of the houses. I was able to quickly recognize which houses had to line up in order to make the wall look flawless. I had the help of my mom and it took us about 3 hours to do. Well worth the time because it really makes a statement in the room!

I love how the girls love it too! They both stare it and I imagine them picturing themselves traveling around the world one day. Gigi has already told me which houses she wants to live in one day, it’s very sweet! I don’t blame her, there are so many cute houses on the wallpaper that I would love to live in too!

The rest of the room is more or less similar to their old room. I kept the walls white so that the wallpaper would really stand out. I added in their old rug because I love the colors of it. The colors all pull together nicely with the wallpaper, rug, decor, and bedding.

I added some artwork, painted their dresser which you can read about, HERE, and Giulietta got a new bed. Her bed was my in laws old daybed that they no longer needed. It’s perfect for this room as I hope they will want to have lots of sleepovers as they grow up. Gigi calls it her ‘princess bed.’ As Serafina gets older & outgrows the crib, I plan to get her a similar metal bed to coordinate with Giulietta’s.

I hung up some cute hooks to hang their costumes from. I put a cute basket full of toys and blankets they can easily grab. A big basket full of their favorite stuffed animals & a bin of books is also ready for them to play with. I brought their dollhouse back in because I feel like it really was needed in this room.

It’s such a precious space that I love hanging out in. The girls love to play in here which makes me so happy! I love creating a bedroom that they love to be in. It’s a space for them to explore, to be creative, to be themselves, and to have fun! I love that this room embodies all of that.

The wallpaper really was the jumping off point and I am SO happy that this room came together even better than I had envisioned. I love that my girls are happy in here and that this room is something that is perfectly them!

Check out Milton & King for all their beautiful wallpaper options. There is truly something for everyone!
