With having 2 babies under 2, I have learned what you truly need in a nursery. Although Giulietta doesn’t have a nursery just yet, when she does, I will be pretty much including everything I’m listing out below.
This guide should help you navigate the true necessities when putting together a baby’s nursery. There are so many items out there for babies and I’m here to help you narrow it down!
This month Walmart is celebrating the 20th anniversary for their exclusive brand, Parent’s Choice! This brand is one we have used with both kiddos as it’s great quality at such reasonable prices! With everything from diapers to nursery items to bath items and tons more, parents can certainly find everything they need.
Some of these items may seem like no brainers, but I didn’t want to skip anything.

Lotion
When your little one needs a diaper change, all of these are useful to have on hand so that changing is quick and easy. We love these Parent’s Choice diapers and fragrance free wipes which work great and are easy on our babies’ sensitive skin. This Hello Bello lotion smells so good and is plant based so it’s gentle and hypoallergenic! These are some more favorites from Walmart below!

Can’t forget about any of these necessities! Baby will play and learn in their nursery so having some toys and books is helpful! You may feed your baby a lot in the nursery so a rocking chair is great to have—how cute is this one for under $250!?.
