In our quest to become a more natural household, today I am going to share why we chose to switch to purified drinking water!

With our growing family, we have become more conscious of what we bring into our homes and switching to purified water is one of the changes we have made.

THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY WE CHOSE TO SWITCH FROM TAP WATER TO PURIFIED DRINKING WATER DUE TO THE BENEFITS FOR OUR BODIES AND THE EARTH.

Purified Drinking Water

As many of you know, we have been doing a ditch and switch of many household items to make our home a more non-toxic place for us. Part of this ditch and switch has included the use of the Primo water dispenser.

After doing some research, I learned that tap water may not be the best quality water for drinking.  Being pregnant and having a little toddler running around, we are always drinking water, so I knew I had to make a better choice for our family.

We have been using this Primo Smart Touch Deluxe Bottom Loading Water Dispenser for a few weeks now and we love it! It makes drinking water super easy and convenient with the ability to have instantly cold water at the touch of a button.

Primo Water Dispenser

I can easily fill up Dominic’s cup and know that I am giving him good quality water.  Being that Dominic wants to do everything that we do right now, he sees John Paul and I constantly filling up our bottles with water which inspires him to ask for more water too!

It has a sleek design that fits in with our kitchen.  I was afraid it would be big and bulky, but it fits perfectly right next to our counters and doesn’t stick out.  The LED indicators for the hot, cold, or cool water dispensing features are a nice added touch that give it a very premium look.

I love how easy this Primo Water + Dispenser is to use.  You load up the water bottle on the bottom, turn on the hot and cold switches on the back, and you have hot and cold water ready to use when you need it!  The hot water has been so convenient to use for tea!

Primo Water Bottles

I thought this was amazing: anything that comes in contact with the water is all BPA free certified.  This includes the Primo water bottles and the internal stainless-steel water reservoir.

BENEFITS OF PURIFIED WATER

Primo water goes through a multi-step purification process including reverse osmosis, making the quality of the water amazing!  Having this Primo water dispenser in our kitchen has influenced us to drink a lot more water as we are constantly passing by it in the kitchen.

By filling up our reusable water bottles with the 5-gallon Primo water bottles, we are saving about 1100 single use water bottles from ending up in the oceans or landfills!  Our journey to a more natural household has led me to being much more green in my thinking so this is a huge deal for us!

Switching to Purified Drinking Water

We use our Primo purified water for everything from drinking to cooking to filling the diffusers.  Dominic has even tried to fill up his cup, but luckily there are child lock safety features that we always turn on, so we don’t end up with a kitchen full of water!

Drinking purified water is just another step in our journey to bettering the health of our family.  I am so glad we have a Primo Water + Dispenser in our home.
