To My Babies on Mother's Day

To My Babies on Mother's Day

I love writing these letters to my babies on Mother’s Day.

See last year’s letter, HERE.

I love to look back at all the notes I have written to my babies each Mother’s Day and how they have grown and changed from year to year.

This is my 5th Mother’s Day which I can hardly believe. What an honor and a gift to be a Mom to my sweet kiddos. I just re-read all of my past letters (2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021) and it’s amazing how much has changed over the years.

DEAR DOMINIC, GIULIETTA, AND BABY GIRL-

Wow, this year I have 3 kiddos to be thankful for! I feel so lucky to have you as my babies. I will always love and cherish you. You make me so proud and I cannot believe I get to watch you grow into amazing little humans each and every day.

Dominic, you are my first born. My only boy. The one who changed my whole world by making me a first time Mama. You have such a special place in my heart. You are beyond caring and thoughtful. You are so genuine and kind. You are friendly and full of love. You are smart and funny too! You have become an amazing little artist, you know so much about the United States and planets, you are playing all different sports and enjoying every second of it. You started school this year and are absolutely thriving. You’ve made lots of friends at school and are learning so much. I am truly in awe of you and the bright light that you bring to our world. You are the best big brother and such a loving son. I love you forever and ever, my baby!

Giulietta, my first little girl. The one who made me more confident in my motherhood journey. You came into this world right before the world flipped upside down and I think there was a reason for that. You may have missed out on some things that we would’ve loved to do with you as a baby, but we have and will continue to make up for that throughout your lifetime. I am constantly enamored by your personality. You set things on fire and aren’t afraid to be your own person. You are a leader who others love and adore. You are confident, fearless, and brave. You may need to be wrapped in bubble wrap, but I love how tenacious you are. You started tumbling this year and loved it! You love to dance, draw, and play dress up. I hope this spirit in you never fades because it is contagious. You are an amazing little sister and I know you will be such a great big sister. I love you forever and ever, my baby!

Baby girl, our last and final child. You will complete our family when you are born this summer. You will be the one who is loved on by your 2 older siblings every day. They ask about you each day and are so excited to meet you. We all are! I can already tell you will be fun and spunky from the ultrasounds since we have had so many with you already. You are constantly moving around in my belly and I think it’s because you want to join in on our fun family adventures. We cannot wait to show you the world and all that it has to offer. We are excited to have another little girly in our family. I love you forever and ever, my baby!

Mother’s Day is such a special day and I am so grateful that you are mine. I’m so excited to celebrate with you. You make your Daddy and I so happy, you fill our lives with joy. My babies, I love you.

LOVE,

MOMMY XO
