End Table Makeover with Chalk Paint

I finally gave Gigi’s end table a makeover using chalk paint!

See another chalk paint project, HERE.

I have had this little end table in Giulietta’s nursery for a bit and gave it a makeover using chalk paint.

My Mom gave us this little end table to use in Gigi’s nursery and I love it so much. It holds her socks, bibs, hats, shoes, tights, bathing suits, and other little things such as paci clips and barrettes.

It’s the perfect size to keep all of her little accessories in. It has the sweetest little details around the edges too. It’s feminine and sweet.

I wanted to give it a little update and make it fit more with her future nursery (we’re moving, in case you haven’t hear!). I decided to chalk paint it!

CHALK PAINT PROCESS

Chalk paint is so easy to use and takes little previous knowledge. You just clean the item really well and make sure it’s dried completely, then start painting! No prepping or sanding required.

I used Rustoleum Chalked Paint in the color Blush Pink.

I gave the end table 2 coats of paint using a paint brush. You could do as many coats as you want to achieve your desired look. You could also use a roller, if you prefer. I only had a brush on hand so that’s what I used :)

Another great thing about chalk paint is that dries super quick. Even doing it indoors, it dries very fast.

I chose to leave the end table as is, meaning I didn’t add any wax or sealer to it. I also didn’t sand it as I didn’t want an antique look. I wanted a more full finish.

I love how it turned out!! The color is so perfect. I think Gigi loves it too :)
