Christmas Playroom Decor

I had so much fun decorating the playroom space for Christmas!

See the kids bedrooms decorated for Christmas, HERE.

Christmas decor in the playroom is simple yet festive and the kids love having the extra twinkle lights down here while they play!

It’s been so fun having some Christmas decor down in our playroom. Everything feels more festive when there are twinkle lights on!

I’m excited to be a part of the Blogger’s Best Holiday Home Tour this week. There are almost 30 bloggers sharing tons of Christmas inspiration so be sure to check out all the posts linked at the bottom of mine! If you are hopping over from White Arrows Home, welcome and thank you for coming over here to Aratari At Home! Isn’t Kristin’s home SO cozy?! My name is Lindsay Aratari and we just moved into our new house in August so I’m very excited to be decorating it for Christmas for the first time this year!

Our playroom had the perfect corner for our faux trees! This space is still a work in progress so these trees take up the perfect amount of space and make the room look complete! I love the flocked tree with the tinsel tree . Both are prelit and look so pretty together, I think! It’s a magical tree forest! Use code LINDSAY10 for 10% off the tinsel tree.

Dominic and Giulietta LOVE the lights and both get very excited each morning when we turn them on! I just love the glow of the lights. I kept the ornaments simple and just put on some DIY cinnamon salt dough ornaments we made. See my recipe HERE.

We have this little shelf all along the walls in our family room. It’s perfect for laying garland on. I love the touch of greenery it adds. Also, on the shelf, I leaned 2 signs that are so perfect for this holiday season. I just love these Christmas songs and love having them represented in the playroom. The Santa advent calendar was made by my Mama. She drew a Santa face and circles with numbers on it for his bead. Each morning, the kids glue a cotton ball to his beard and when his beard is full, it will be Christmas morning!

I added a big sack for presents to the window sill along with the cute house garland. In front of the alphabet canvas, I placed a wintry white wreath against the wall.

On our DIY house mural, I put out our Christmas books. We have a good amount so this is always rotating, but it’s fun for the kids to have the books out on display. See how I made this house mural, HERE. I also added some twinkling lights to it and a wreath on the door. In front of the house, I added a reindeer pillow for extra coziness while reading books!

This nook makes me so happy and I’m so glad I added some Christmas cheer here! We made this playroom space for the kids to explore, play, and imagine, and I truly think the Christmas spirit in here adds to the charm.

Now, head on over to Caitlin Marie Design to see her gorgeous neutral Christmas decor!
