Wintry Farmhouse Tablescape

This wintry farmhouse tablescape is sure to beat the winter blues!

We are staying nice and cozy with our hot cocoa bar this winter.

The wintry farmhouse tablescape combines pale greens, candles, and wood tones.

Winter is in full swing over here at Aratari At HOME. The temps have been well below freezing & although we haven't had that much snow, the winter blues have kind of set in. I wanted to create a new table scape after Christmas so this is what I decided on. Lots of different candles of all shapes, sizes, & colors, lamb's ear, & texture upon texture is how this Farmhouse Dining Room Table Scape came about.

I layered down 4 place mats as a table runner. These are old, but I am pretty sure I got them from Home Goods. I then used a wooden tray and placed it in the center of the table to create a base to work from. I have been loving Lamb's Ear lately & have used it all through out our house. I placed it into the tray & layered pieces on top of one another to create a very full look.

Next came all the candles! I wanted it to be some what sporadic, but still look balanced & symmetrical. At the ends, I just used some chunky candles that I have had from IKEA or Hobby Lobby. I placed them on top of some wood slice coasters. Next, I added my Magnolia candle sticks with taper candles from Hobby Lobby on either side of the tray.

Inside of the tray are 2 of my newest candle sticks from Sarah CC Trading Co. These were a special order for me & I absolutely love them! They have a chippy white appearance & I love that each of them is a little different. The details on them are so unique & pretty. One is a little curvier than the other, but I love that. They work so well with this rustic table scape. I know I will use them all over the house. I actually have another spot in mind for them when I change over this table :)

Lastly, I took some of the extra beaded garland I got at Hobby Lobby around Christmas time & wound it around the table space.  I love the natural color of the beads.

I wanted to create something warm & cozy since we are experiencing some really cold weather. The mix of neutrals with the different textures brings such a comforting feel to our dining room table.

What do you think of our dining room dressed up for Winter?
