Playtime with Octonauts

The kids and I have been having so much fun during playtime with our new Octonauts toys!

We have been using our imagination a lot lately during playtime with the Octonauts toys and playsets.

Octonauts is a really cute show that is available on Netflix. It’s a team of adventurers who like to explore the ocean and rescue all different creatures while saving their habitats. With Octonauts Above and Beyond, the Octonauts are now exploring land! These play sets, figurines, and plush dolls are a fun way to recreate episodes and let our imaginations soar! My kids have loved setting up the playsets all over the house. It’s cute to see them play with it all and create different adventures.

OCTORAY TRANSFORMING PLAYSET

This Octoray Transforming playset is a huge hit in our house! WIth all the different sounds and lights, it’s super hands on. It transforms from a rolling jet into the Mobile Headquarters. It includes a Captain Barnacles Figure, and 3 Creatures: Giant Panda, Chinese Sturgeon, and Chinese Giant Salamander. It also has a Mini-Ray and Mission card! Dominic and Gigi have loved listening to all the different sounds (over 25!) and playing with the figures in the HQ.

OCTOPOD PLAYSET

This Octopod playset is so interactive! The net launcher is so fun and exciting, the claw is operable, the spyglass rotates, and the slide is cool. It comes with a Captain Barnacles Figure and 3 Sea Creatures: a Vampire Squid, a Starfish, and a Slime Eel along with a Mission Card! The kiddos love net launching and seeing where all the Octonauts fly off to. They love using the claw to pick up the creatures.

VEHICLE & FIGURE PACKS

These vehicle and figure packs are so cute! The vehicles are so detailed and they’re on wheels! Each comes with a different figure and a Mission Card. We have loved racing them all around the playroom. They have taken adventures on the play kitchen and hung out in bedrooms. We’ve even taken them to restaurants and the kids can play while waiting.

ADVENTURE PACKS

The Adventure Packs are the perfect addition to playtime with the Octonauts! Each pack is based on an episode and includes a Deluxe Octonauts Figure, a Mini Environment (such as a volcano or rocks), a Creature and Mission Card. My kids have loved having these to add to the Vehicles, Octopod, and Octoray Transforming playset. It’s fun having a full collection so that they can really explore and create all different travels, adventures, and scenes for the Octonauts.

OCTONAUTS CREW PLUSH FIGURES

Who doesn’t love a plush figure?! These are so cozy and perfect to snuggle. They’re 8” tall, made with deluxe fabrics and embroidered with such cute details. They are so soft! There are 4 Octonauts to collect: Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, Peso, and Paani. We’ve been loving having them around the playroom so we can grab them and bring them into the Octonaut adventure!

These toys and playsets are now available at Walmart! These would be such cute gift ideas for the Octonaut lover in your life! The stories and creativity I have seen with my kiddos while playing with these has been so fun to see. We can’t wait to keep exploring the sea and land with our Octonauts!
