Our Woodland Baby Shower

Our Woodland Baby Shower was so much fun!

Check out our nursery progress here.

My Mom threw us a woodland baby shower complete with cute decor, yummy food, and amazing guests!

Family

Yesterday marked 2 years since we got married!  I can't believe we have been husband & wife for 2 years already!!  Where does the time go?  New house, new puppy, & a new baby!  We have had an incredible 2 years of marriage & I can't wait to see what else our journey brings.  We are in a beautiful season of life right now & I am so happy to have my sweet hubby by my side.

In honor of our anniversary, I wanted to bring you another BUMPdate!  I am 29 weeks along & already in my second week of my 3rd trimester.  Baby A is moving around a lot, especially at night.  He is growing lots each week & we love knowing that we are going to meet this little one in about 10-11 weeks.  Again, where does the time go?!  Baby Bear, we are SO excited to meet you soon!

WOODLAND BABY SHOWER

This past weekend, my Mom threw me a baby shower. We went with a woodland theme to take some elements from the nursery. My cousin Shanleigh of August & Osceola designed the shower invites which really set the tone for the feel of the shower.

We did the shower in the afternoon, so we decided to go with an appetizer assortment of food. There was an avocado black bean salsa, a cheese & olive spread, a veggie pizza, tortellini on toothpicks, fruit, & mini meatballs. Of course a shower is not complete with an array of desserts. My cousin, Sofi is an amazing baker & made the sweet treats for us. This included delicious sugar cookies, munchkin hedgehogs, & a naked cake topped with a berry compote! We also made some chocolate covered pretzels to look like birch trees.

We kept the decor simple & let the beauty of my Aunt's home shine! Isn't her home absolutely breathtaking?! I love it!!

The shower was amazing & it was so special celebrating with my family & friends from back home in MA.  Baby A is so loved & we feel so blessed that everyone is as excited to welcome him into this world as we are.  My MIL is giving me a shower in a few weeks so I will share all about that one as well :)

A special thank you to my cousin, Libby who took some of these beautiful photos to document our day!
