I love these little mini donut muffins because they are the perfect size for little hands. They are also delicious. My mother in law has mastered them and has made them for many different showers and parties and they are always a HIT!

We made some with Dominic and he couldn’t wait for them to cool before digging in and grabbing one!

They can be made into any flavor, but our favorites are chocolate chip, blueberry, and cinnamon sugar!

Licking the spoon

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 cup flour

FOR BLUEBERRY MUFFINS:

  • Handful of fresh blueberries

FOR CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS:

  • Handful of mini chocolate chips

FOR CINNAMON SUGAR MUFFINS:

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Ready to go in the oven

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

  2. Spray a mini muffin pan with cooking spray

  3. In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon

  4. Stir in the milk, then add the baking powder and flour

  5. Mix until well combined

  6. Fill the muffin pan using a small spoon—fill about halfway

  7. If making the chocolate chip or blueberry muffins: place a few chocolate chips on top of each muffin or add 2-3 blueberries on top of each muffin (be sure the blueberries don’t touch the edge of the muffin tin so they don’t burn)

  8. Place muffins in the preheated oven and bake about 15-20 mins or until golden

  9. If making the cinnamon sugar muffins, melt butter in a small bowl and combine the sugar and cinnamon in another small bowl—when the muffins come out of the oven, dip in the melted butter then roll in the cinnamon/sugar mixture and allow to cool

  10. Take muffins out of the oven and allow to cool

  11. ENJOY!
