Our front patio has come a long way from when we bought the house. There were some huge bushes in front that we cut down last Fall. Fast forward to this spring and John Paul worked hard to pull out the big stumps/roots so we could have a clear space out front. I’m so glad we decided to clear the bushes because this is much more useable now and it looks so beautiful and welcoming!

Don’t you think it looks so much more modern now with the bushes gone? It’s more open and the house almost feels lighter!

I decided I wanted to create a little patio out front so that we could sit and relax. It’s perfect for night time or during the day watching the kids play in the front yard. I think it turned out so perfect!

Adirondack chairs

I had this vision for adirondack chairs because I feel they are the ultimate outdoor chair for relaxing and welcoming vibes. I found these amazing chairs from Walmart Home and they are so pretty! They are the perfect color (they come in other colors too!) and they’re super comfortable. They were easy to put together and shipped super quick.

After finding the perfect chairs, I found these fun pillows from Walmart Home for a little pop of color. I love the yellow and white with all the texture. They add some fresh summer feels to the patio. They also make the chairs a bit more cozy.

We wanted some solar lights out here, so that at night we have a little glow. These are so nice and let off the perfect amount of light. They charge throughout the day and last for a while at night. I lined the patio for a little ambiance.

In between the chairs, I put this cute gold plant stand. I love having fresh plants outside and this plant stand is the perfect height. It’s super lightweight so I can easily move it around the patio, if I want to switch things up! I put my spider plant with this self watering planter outside to give it some fresh air for the summer, we will see how this goes! I've never moved an indoor plant outdoors, but I have seen spider plants grown outside so I figured I would try it out!

With the black mulch and hanging basket, this patio space is complete! I love how cozy it is. I love driving up to our house and seeing the patio.

Solar lights

When we had my family in town this past weekend, my Mom and I sat out here for hours just chatting away. It’s such a nice little gathering space.

Walmart has so many fun summer finds for indoor and outdoor use. Lots of fresh and bright colors to make your home extra happy this season! I’m loving all of the mid century vibes! You can easily create a tropical oasis with tabletop decor, wall art, living room or bedroom accents, outdoor finds, beach towels, crafting projects, and more! I love the affordability too!
