Our dining room got a little update and I’m excited to share it with you!

We haven’t done much to our dining room space since we moved in 3 years ago. I wanted to make a quick and easy change so I decided to paint the back wall. I’m so glad I did this as I think it brings so much warmth and coziness to the space.

It gives the space a little more definition as it does open up to our living room. I love that it ties into the rest of the space, but also gives the dining room it’s own personality.

This dining room update was so easy and made such a big impact.

CLARE PAINT

Before the wall behind the table was kind of bland and just blended with the rest of the room. I wanted to give the space a more fun look so I went with this gorgeous shade of mustard yellow called, Golden Hour from Clare Paint!

This is the first time I have used this brand of paint and I am super impressed. The coverage was amazing and I love how easy the paint applied to the wall. I used an eggshell finish for interior walls and it’s perfect!

I did 2 coats and it turned out beautifully. I love the shade of yellow because it’s not too bright, but not too pale. It’s a really nice, deep rich tone.

I used a roller and an angled brush for the ceiling, baseboards, and walls.

Clare Paint has so many beautiful colors. It was hard to pick this one! I definitely will be using their paint again for future projects!

I am SO happy with how this update turned out! I love how it plays off the yellow in the rest of the room. It brightens the space and gives the dining room more interest. I also switched around the chairs. I love the pink velvet chairs against the yellow wall, such a fun contrast. I now want to find some sort of art for the walls, but I haven’t found anything I love just yet.

I hope you love this update as much as we do! Would you use this paint color in your home!?
