Backyard Picnic

This post is sponsored by Mondelez. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
A backyard picnic with snacks is so fun during the spring and summer.

I LOVE A GOOD SNACK PICNIC WITH THE FAMILY IN THE BACKYARD AFTER DOING YARD WORK OR A DAY OF PLAY.

With all of these warmer days ahead of us, I love having easy access to snacks for us to enjoy outside. I don’t want to be running in and out of the house, so I created this little picnic station with all the necessities so the setup was super quick and easy.

Creating this little backyard picnic is fun for the whole family! I keep it very simple and we all love it! I love using these NABISCO Multipack snacks from Walmart for our picnics.

BACKYARD PICNIC SET UP

When spending time outside, I like to have things that are easily accessible to grab while we are in the backyard.

I set up a little picnic ‘bin’ in our garage that I can easily pull out and set up when we want to take a break from yard work or playing for a snack.

The set up is so simple! I lay down a big blanket, a few throw pillows to sit on, and of course, the snacks! Super easy and laid back! No fuss and easy to pull together quickly.

I used this little basket and filled it with these convenient snacks from Walmart. I can keep it stocked with the snacks and then bring it out for everyone to pick what they want.

For our basket, I used the Chips Ahoy! 18 Count, RITZ Portion Pack 18 Count, and RITZ Bits Variety 20 Count. I put a few of each in the basket and can easily refill it when needed. I also made sure to put plates in the basket, but bowls or cups would be great too.

The snacks are delicious and family favorites. I love how they come pre-packaged and pre-portioned which makes putting them in a picnic basket so handy and cleanup easy.

I think picnics are kind of magical for kiddos! Getting able to eat outside on the ground is a change of pace and scenery which makes snack time that much better!

The kids love this and I love all the memories being made together. I always think it’s these simple little moments that make a big impact. I know I will look back on these picnics in the backyard with such happiness.

This backyard picnic is a huge mom win! It makes the kiddos so happy, they get to pick out what snack they want, they get to eat outside on the grass, and it’s so easy to pull off!

I can’t wait for all of our backyard picnics this spring and summer! The kids are already asking me when our next one will be!

Head to Walmart or shop Walmart.com to take a peek at all of these multipack snack options for your family. Perfect for on the go, to pack in lunches, or to set up a backyard picnic!
