2018 Goals

Happy 2018!  I can't believe we are already in 2018!?  2017 was pretty amazing as we welcomed Dominic into our world.  I know that this year will only get better as we get to watch Dominic learn & grow.  Each day he changes & learns something new, it is seriously my favorite part of being a Mom.

As we start this new year, I want to hold myself accountable for 3 goals I am setting for myself so I thought I would share them with you.  I'm not calling them resolutions, but goals or initiatives for this year.

First goal/Initiative:
Being a new stay at home Mom, I want to set a schedule for myself for each day of the week so that I can stay organized and on top of the house chores that can be so mundane and boring.  I am going to share my weekly schedule later this week, in case you are interested in starting this too.

Second Goal/Initiative:
Drink more water.  I said this on Instagram this past weekend, but I want to drink more water each day.  I am going to do this by using fun tumblers!  My current 2 faves are below.

Third Goal/Initiative:
Make healthier choices.  I don't want to put lose weight, work out more, or eat better because I feel like I say these EVERY year, if I'm being honest.  So if I commit to making smarter & healthier choices in all aspects of my life, I will be a better wife, mom, daughter, friend & human being.

Fourth Goal/Initiative:
Improve my blog.  This is kind of a personal goal as I am the only one who can kind of determine how & what I do to improve my blogging, but I still wanted to write this down.  At the end of 2017, I relaunched my blog with a new layout & this year, I want to take it to new levels.  I have some fun things planned & would love to have you along for the journey.  You can subscribe to my blog by clicking this link: (HERE) & scrolling to the bottom of the page & subscribing.  You will receive an email every time I post a new blog post so that you don't miss any of the fun :)  Would so appreciate it!

So goals 2 and 3 kind of coincide with one another, but I really want to focus on drinking more water so I wanted that one to be a separate goal.  We also have some house goals that we want to tackle this year which I will share more about as we accomplish them.  This is a big year of change for us as we are now a family of 3.  I am very excited for this year & to see what will happen.

I just had to share this photo of Dominic because he's adorable ;)

I hope you have a healthy, happy, & fun start to your new year.  Do you make any resolutions, goals, initiatives for the new year?  Do you like to reflect on the past year?  I would love to hear some of your goals for the upcoming year so share them in the comments :)

Thank you for stopping by the blog!
