Magnolia Market

A week ago today we visited such a magical place...Magnolia Market!

I have the best hubby! A few months ago, he told me we were going to New York City & all different spots along the Eastern seaboard for vacation. We had been to many of these places before, but he said he wanted to go again & "go down memory lane." Little did I know, this was not the real plan. Fast forward a few months later & I was told we were going to Texas!!!! We've never been to Texas & the whole point of this trip was to visit Magnolia Market! I was ecstatic to say the least & shocked that my hubby could keep this a surprise for so long.

I've prepped for this day & have been dreaming of this day for so long. I know, so crazy, right? I just LOVE Joanna & Chip & everything they do. I never thought we'd ever have a chance to get to their Silos so I was beyond excited to visit Magnolia Market.

The day finally arrived & we drove in from Fort Worth. The drive was a little over an hour, but the anticipation was killing me. When driving into Waco, you can see the Silos peeking over the city. I was so giddy!! We could not park fast enough. We chose street parking as the lots were full, but to be honest, street parking was quick, easy, & free.

My first impression was amazement! It was everything I thought it would be & more!!! This was like my Disney Land. We walked in & I felt like I was in a different world. All the employees greet you with a smile & are so genuinely happy that you're there visiting. They are willing to take your photos in front of any & everything {huge shout out for that}!

We went into the market first. Swoon. That's the best word to describe the shop. The whole market was so swoonworthy & beautiful. Joanna has seriously thought of everything. The displays are unique, gorgeous, & shop-able. They make you want to purchase everything. Good for Jojo, bad for my wallet. Not only did I want to buy all of the product in the shop, I also loved all of the display pieces. She has some true treasures in there that create such a fun shopping experience. Things hang from the ceiling, architectural pieces are hung from the wall, & her product is used as art. I wanted one of everything. Even the way she displays the prices of things is beautiful. Not one detail was left out & I did not expect anything less. It was truly an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to everyone!

Narrowing down what to actually buy was hard, but I did come away with some very fun goodies!

Next we headed out to the grounds for some food truck fun. The grounds are gorgeous! The Silos make a huge presence & are just so stunning against the green grass. There are lawn games to play like corn hole, football, etc. The food trucks are all super yummy & fun. We shared a grilled cheese from Cheddar Box & a rice bowl from Club Sandwich. Both are so delicious! The picnic tables & canopies are so cute & are the perfect spot to relax & take in the views.

We then went to the Seed & Supply store. The cutest store ever! It's somewhat small, but it has all the essentials that you could want.  Lots of fun gardening tools, kits, & books. Again, I could have taken one of everything home with me! The displays were so creative & carried the trend from the market of being unique yet functional. The grounds around the store are so well manicured, just like the rest of the Silos. These grounds have all different types of plants & vegetation. There were pumpkins for days which just gave me so much inspo!

Last but definitely not least was the Silos Baking Company. This was such a treat for us! Again, super sweet employees that are more than willing to give suggestions as to what their favorites are. This was such an efficient bakery. We wrote our order down on a little menu given to us & we waited for about 5 minutes to "place our order." While waiting for our order, we were drooling over all the amazing cupcakes & baked goods. I don't think we could have gone wrong with anything! We chose the Silo Cookie, Strawberries n Cream Cupcake, Peanut Butter Cup Cupcake, & Lemon Lavender Cupcake. Wow were they delicious!! John Paul is not a sweets guy & he even loved them! The bakery is true to form & is so beautifully designed. The subway tile, antique pieces, brick, & built ins add to the already charming space.

I absolutely loved every single space at the Silos. Such a fun, unique, & memorable experience. I would go back in a heart beat!

Thanks for stopping by the blog!
