Vintage and Nostalgic Christmas Decor

Vintage and Nostalgic Christmas Decor

This post is sponsored by Walmart. All opinions and thoughts are my own. Thank you for supporting brands I love!

I love finding Christmas decor that has lots of vintage and nostalgic vibes.

I also love to reuse decor from past seasons during Christmas like these lanterns I used for fall, seen HERE.

I wanted to pay homage to my favorite traditions with this vintage and nostalgic Christmas decor on our sewing machine which is a family heirloom!

I know it may be a little early to start thinking about Christmas, but it’s such a magical season that goes by so fast, so I figure why not share early?! Plus, I found the cutest Christmas decor at Walmart that I wanted to put together this space that is a nod to my childhood and all the amazing Christmas memories I have.

VINTAGE + NOSTALGIC

I was browsing through the Walmart Holiday Lookbook and I saw this ceramic Christmas tree that instantly reminded me of my Grammy because she had a similar tree in her house. All the wonder of the Christmas season came rushing back to me and this became my whole inspiration for this Christmas set up. This one is 16”, really nice quality, and so affordable!

After I found the tree, I knew I wanted to style our sewing machine that was my Great Great Aunt’s! It’s the perfect backdrop for the Christmas decor, I think. When it’s time to get a real tree at the end of November, it will go right next to this sewing machine which will be so special!

Next, I found these big bulb lights which feel so vintage. I love the warm glow they give off and they look so pretty draped along the sewing machine. I love Christmas lights that are Warm White! To add more texture to the sewing machine, I found this beautiful wool ball garland. I love the coziness it adds and how it feels like it was made years and years ago.

CHRISTMAS TREES

Each Christmas season, I love adding a few new mini trees to sprinkle throughout the house. This year, I found these ombre trees. They are perfect little pop of color. I think they add to the vintage and nostalgic feels of this space too! I also found this cute pink and gold tree. It’s vintage, yet modern. I love it!

FAMILY TRADITIONS

One of my favorite family traditions is to read the Night Before Christmas Book on Christmas Eve. I have started a collection of Night Before Christmas Books and loving having them out on display during the holidays as fun decor.

Lastly, I put out these beautiful lanterns and battery operated candles, but I added a little tree to each one. They add a nice glow and feel more festive with the trees. It’s a nice cozy touch!

Walmart Home has so many amazing Christmas finds! I love the retro look of these finds. They are nostalgic and vintage inspired, but are modern and trendy. I love how easily it all mixes in! Be sure to check out all that Walmart Home has for decor this year, it's all so fun!!!

The kids were SO excited to see these Christmas decorations go up. They may have already taken some of the trees and put them in their rooms…they can’t wait!!!
