Sometimes we make protein shakes for breakfast or for a little snack when the kids go to bed. We love trying out new flavors and finding new ways to add in some healthy ingredients.

I love all things pumpkin for Fall so I thought I would try out a pumpkin shake! This came out so delicious, thick, and creamy!

It’s pretty customizable depending on what kind of protein powder you like and what milk you want to use.

We love using Orgain protein powder, specifically the chocolate flavor, however this recipe I like using the vanilla better!

PROTEIN SHAKE INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 oz milk of choice (I like unsweetened almond milk)

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder

  • dash of pumpkin pie spice (more or less depending on your preference)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. Add more milk, if you want it less thick

  4. Pour into a glass and top with more pumpkin pie spice

  5. ENJOY!

These shakes are really yummy and are so perfect for this time of year! Dominic loves it too!
